Lesee... Creative Writing... I was coerced into reading the Naruto/Hinata fluff and that was uneventful. I read it, and that was that. I remembered my dream (I didn't even remember having a dream up until that point) as I was sitting there, so I quickly jotted it down and now I shall share it with you.

Funky dream )

Second period...we had our presentation. All I had to do was read some random information on nationalism, so it was all good. No thinking involved there.

Third...we watched this weird video involving microphotography, and it was basically showing all the different microscopic bugs that live on humans. *Shudder* It kept making me itchy. I was amused when they showed this stag beetle fight close up, though, and they kept talking about how much the stag beetle was like a dinosaur. I have no idea where that came from...

Fourth...typical. Someone saw my headband around my neck and went "KONOHA!" so that made me extremely happy.

During lunch, Nicole and I went out to the amphitheater and sat in the sun on the grass. It was terribly bright and hot, though, so soon I was baking. -_- I even drew a collapsed, panting Pikachu in my Creative Writing journal to illustrate how I was feeling. I wish I could scan it in and put it as my Current Mood...it summarizes how I felt quite well.

Trig...we started trig proofs, which aren't half as bad as I thought they would be. I'm actually doing pretty well on them. ^_^

English...we had the choice of going outside to work on our Hemingway satires, but Kelsey, Amanda, and I stayed inside because it was so hot and bright. Mr. Cartan gave Kelsey permission to use his CD player, but that meant I was subjected to country music for the rest of the period. ._. It wasn't bad, but country isn't exactly my favorite, either. I didn't do much during that period...just sat there and scribbled pictures on any piece of paper in my arm's range.

Mr. Cartan also said he wants to read some of my Creative Writing (he knows I'm interested in writing novels, and he thinks I'm a good writer based off of my essays), which is cool because he'll be able to give awesome constructive criticism. Exactly what I want.

Mom picked me up and brought me (well, first to Grinder's and to pick up Ryan, but that's not the point) home, and I discovered, of all lovely things, a bug infestation in my room. -_- Hundreds and hundreds of strange winged bugs that I believe are termites...swarming around my room and teeming on my walls and floor. I have no idea how they came so suddenly or why, but it was weird.

I basically cleaned out everything in my entire room (quite a task) and was going to vacuum all the bugs up to get rid of them, but the big vacuum had no bags in it (and we didn't have bags for it, either), and the little vacuum wasn't charged and took forever to charge, so I couldn't use it, either.

So, I reluctantly got out the bug spray, kicked Princess out of my room so she wasn't exposed to the fumes, and started dousing everything. Then I had to sweep the bug carcasses littering the floor outside, and it was all terribly lovely. >< My room is going to smell like bugspray for a very long time. This whole process took at least an hour and a half.

I went through some old notebooks, then, and was fascinated at some of the things I found. I love looking through old sketchbooks and books of notes and things...it's so fascinating to look back on yourself a few years ago.

Then I packed for Dad'sm and he picked me up eventually.

We spent a lot of time driving around. Dad picked me up, we picked Ryan up at his guitar lesson, went to RiteAid for prescriptions (anti-depressants for Ryan), went to Taco Bell for dinner, went by the hospital (I forgot my CDs in Mom's car and wanted to get them, and she was at work), and then we went to Ryan's basketball practice. Jake showed up there and is now spending the night...again.

While Ryan was at basketball, I went and walked over to Scotten, which was the campus I was at for sixth grade. Strolling around it in the dark brought back a lot of memories, and I was left feeling extremely nostalgic. I remember playing Pass-the-Pikachu on the swings, creating Pokémon board games out of butcher paper and our Pokémon figures, getting into writing fanfiction, and too many other things to even list. I played on the swings for a while, looked at the stars, and sat on this one bench that I believe was the very bench I read my first fanfic on (my friend Alicia printed it out for me). Kind of a cool experience...going back somewhere where so many things happened to you.

When I was done with that, I went into the middle of a big, dark field over by Lyman Gilmore (Ryan's school), and howled for a while, and then proceeded to make Pikachu noises for at least a half hour. If you had recorded me, you seriously would have thought me insane.

Drove home, talked to Hitchi on AIM for a while, and now I really want to go to sleep.

Louisa's not coming 'til Monday, which ruins weekend time because she's leaving next Saturday. ;_; It's so sad. Oh well--at least she's coming! We'll have so much fun. XD

I need to go to sleep... Zzzz... I wonder if I can go to the choir thingy tomorrow... I'll just have to call Cody in the morning and see. I've forgotten when they're leaving is the problem, because I thought we would be picking Louisa up tomorrow instead of Monday. Oh well.

No, now I'm really going to sleep.
