Lots of Naruto
Feb. 27th, 2005 06:37 pmAbout ten minutes after I woke up, I remembered a fragment of the dream I had last night. It's not anime-related (or even amusing), and I only remember a little of it, but I think it meant something.
Um...it took place in my Mom's house, and I'm pretty sure Cody was there just hanging around, but I'm not sure if Nicole was. I don't think she was. Anyway, I found these three birds in various ways (I can't remember where/why/how I found the birds, but I found them all separately). One was a cockatiel, one was a brown finch, and one was a wild bird (a sparrow-type bird). I had them all in different places, but soon I remembered I had a big bird cage and I decided to put them all in it together. The cockatiel and the finch were fine, but the sparrow kept flitting around anxiously and ramming against the bars of the cage. Because I felt bad for the poor thing, I took it in my hand, brought it outside, and let it go.
That's just about all I remember. I think I kind of have an idea about what it's saying (though it could mean a variety of things), but I can't really describe it. It felt like a sort of personal, gentle dream.
So, then I took a shower and tried to remember more of the dream (and failed). After I dried off and got dressed, I decided to call Nicole, Cody, and Makayla and see if they wanted to come to my house and watch anime. It didn't take long to organize this, and within fifteen minutes or so all three of them were at my house.
Nicole only stayed for a little while, though, because her Dad came and wanted to take her dirtbiking, but once she left Makayla, Cody, and I sat on my bed (in my case, I was sprawled halfway across Cody, so I wasn't exactly sitting, but you get the idea ^^;;) and watched the first six episodes of Naruto because Cody had never seen Naruto. :O Naturally, this had to be remedied, so we had a great time laughing at the great comedic pleasure of the first six episodes. I forgot how goofy Naruto is in the beginning.
At 3 PM, Cody had to leave, too, so Makayla and I switched to Naruto episodes 76-80 and pitied Gaara and were sad about ( Episode 79-80 Spoiler! ) I had a little bit of a headache (I keep getting headaches whenever it gets cloudy) after 80, so I decided it would be best to stop watching Naruto for a while.
Then, Louisa called! We talked briefly, but it made me very, very happy what I did hear.
She's coming to visit from March 12th through March 19th! YAY! She's going to have so much anime to catch up on... She moved away when I was just getting into Cowboy Bebop, which was aaaages ago. *Bounce bounce* I'm so excited! She's going to stay at my house.
It was kind of funny, though, because I couldn't hear her very well because Dad was playing guitar in the living room (loudly), and the AMV Whisper of the Beast (which has a German rock song playing) was on in my room. ^^;;
Yeah, after she called Makayla and I watched lots of AMVs and had a weird/entertaining discussion about what would happen if all the characters from all of our favorite anime suddenly came alive. XD
We decided that the poor bishounen would have to form a society to hide themselves from all the fangirls, and we decided we'd found one called BIHA (Bishounen in Hiding Anonymous). We'd, in the end, be running it, but the bishounen wouldn't know that fangirls were running it all along. XD Anyway, it was funny. We were also talking about which anime characters would get along with each other. I think Spike and Kakashi would get along just fine, personally.
Anyway, then we gave Makayla and Jake a ride home (listened to lots of anime music on the way, as usual), and it started raining on the way back from Jake's. I started listening to Maaya Sakamoto at that point and got excited about seeing her at AX.
Ack--better go! It's dinnertime. I'm having tortellini, which is one of my favorite foods. Bye bye!
