I can catch up, though.

Thursday was a very interesting day. I tried to make an entry in here that night, but I was tired when I tried to, and when my computer froze and deleted my whole entry, I didn't have the energy to type it all over again.

During my study period that day, I brought four of my artbooks (RahXephon, Gravitation (anime), Wolf's Rain (Seeking Rakuen, not the character designs one), and Cowboy Bebop Characters Collection) for Erin and I to look through. I was paranoid about them getting hurt, so I wrapped them in one of my shirts and stuck them in a bag so there was no way they could get scratched or bent. ^^;;

My TA period started off dull... Two hours of sitting in the Student Store with nothing to do did not sound appealing. Well, I decided to sift through the Lost and Found for a while and sort things, but the other TAs weren't doing anything, so... >.< Actually, they were in the other room watching the inauguration, but they got sick of the inauguration and turned it to Spongebob instead. ^^;; Go figure.

Well, the Lost and Found took me at least an hour (after which my hands felt extremely icky from the rubber gloves), then I asked permission to spend the other hour hanging out in the art room with some of my friends. My wish was granted, so I went to the art room and had some rather...interesting...conversations.

The funniest one was when Erin, Makayla, and I started talking about The Secret of NIMH. Erin was going on about how sexy she thinks Jenner is, and Makayla was like, "NO! Justin is the sexy one!" This argument went on for about fifteen minutes before I snickered and went, "You guys DO realize you're talking about animated rats...right?" Much laughing commenced after we realized exactly how weird we are.

Anatomy was the cat dissection, which was actually pretty cool.

I ran up to S206 (not our room, by the way. There are simply no lab stations in the Science Lecture Hall, thus making it near-impossible to dissect cats in it) and joined up with my group-- Erin, Melissa, and Aubyn. Mr. Larsen handed out the cats once we all got trays, scalpels, scissors, poker-things, smocks, surgical masks, lab goggles, rubber gloves, etc. At first, when we saw the cats in the air-tight plastic bags, it was a little on the creepy side. Once we got the cat out of its bag, however, we all felt a little better about it.

The cats were all skinned, so they were really weird looking. They looked much smaller without skin, especially their tails. We were very tentative at first when we started cutting at the cat, looking for muscles to check off on our checklist, but eventually we got much more aggressive and started going through layers of it. After a while, we all soft of disconnected ourselves from the fact it was once a cat, and we started getting really into it. It was completely interesting.

The best part was seeing the reactions of the people who came into the room, though. Apparently, some of the other classes had heard we were dissecting cats. Mr. Larsen kept the doors open to air out the room of the smell of formaldehyde, so several kids snuck in and watched for a second or two.

One girl (a very typical-looking freshman girl) peeked in briefly at our lab station (we were the closest to the door), saw the dead cat, coughed like she was going to throw up, and ran off with her hand over her mouth. XD

After that, we decided to creep everyone out who came in even more by smiling hugely when they came in and looked at our cat. You couldn't see our mouths (seeing as we had surgical masks on), but you could tell we were smiling because of our eyes.

One girl walked in, completely unsuspecting as to what was going on in the room, got halfway across the room, glanced around, got the funniest expression on her face, and ran out of the room. XD

The guys who peeked in weren't so grossed out, but would come in and ask us questions solemnly. They seemed creeped out, though.

Well, the period ended just as we started on our cat's forelimb. I ran out of class pretty fast because I was determined to get shotgun in Cody's car. ^^; Cody was already in his car when I got there, but Nicole didn't show up for about fifteen minutes so we had to wait.

Nicole and I originally wanted to go hang out at Cody's house, but Cody was exhausted and dropped us off at Nicole's house instead so he could go take a nap.

At Nicole's, we didn't do a great deal... Nicole was coloring a picture of Haku (from Spirited Away, not Naruto) on Photoshop most of the time. I almost fell asleep on her couch, because I suppose I caught some of Cody's tiredness or something. Makayla, before we had left school, mentioned something about meeting us at Café Mekka at 1 PM, but we couldn't get ahold of her for a while, so when we finally did reach her, we decided to meet at 1:30 PM. Nicole and I called Cody to tell him we were meeting down there (he had requested we call him if anything was going on), and then I spent a good fifteen minutes trying to get Nicole to start walking down there early. I finally succeeded.

Of course, the problem with going early was that no one was there when we arrived. Nicole and I had forgotten money anyway, so we walked to my Dad's house to grab some quarters in my room. On the way, we stopped at Nate's and tried to convince him to come to Mekka with us. He was playing WarCraft, however, so we didn't stand a chance at getting him off of it. I swear, he LIVES for WarCraft.

At Dad's, we grabbed the quarters and went back down to Mekka. This time we were really late, and Makayla, Cody, and Kathryn were already there. We ordered coconut slushies (and Nicole got a lemon bar) and sat at the table by the window for quite a while, discussing a camping trip we went on last summer and other outings of my friends and I. Cody seemed tired still, as he was reading a book instead of participating in the conversation. After we all finished our drinks, we took off and wandered around downtown for a while.

Eventually, we settled on the Truffle shop. Makayla bought us all truffles, but they were REALLY strong, so we each could only eat a little of them. We finished them anyway because we had the foresight to buy a few and share them. We sat in a doorway and ate the bits of them, and once we finished we bought some Swedish Fish (candy) at Confectionately Yours. At that point, Cody decided to leave (we was still tired, as could be deduced from his quietness and slightly lagging behind us), so we all gave him hugs as he left.

Our next destination was Makayla's house. On the way there, we found three ADORABLE puppies (two tiny one of unknown breeds, and one black lab) and Nicole and I couldn't resist petting them and hugging them and such. So CUTE! *_* We kept talking about dubbing over Tsume's growl with little pupping yapping, just for the fun of it.

While we were at Makayla's, Makayla and Jamison (her little brother) spent most of the time showing off their DDR skills. XD Very funny to watch. Nicole even tried it on Beginner mode as we laughed. We also looked at a TON of pictures of our group on Makayla's computer. They were extremely amusing, and I hope Makayla remembers to burn them onto CD-Rs for Nicole and I so I can put some of them here on my LiveJournal. You guys would love laughing at our silliness. XD Makayla also proved to us just how obsessed she is with the moon when she showed us about a thousand photographs of it. I'm not exaggerating when I say a thousand, either. O.O; Kathryn had to leave for a doctor's appointment right around the time we all decided to go to Nicole's house.

After that we were at Nicole's for a little while. I can't really remember what we did there... I know that was when Nicole split from the group because she had to babysit her little brother.

Makayla and I went to my house and watched RahXephon. As we were doing this, Chris showed up and watched about three or four hours of it with us. ^_^ They left after those three or four hours, but it was a lot of fun.

By then it was bedtime, so I went to sleep.

Yesterday, I got picked up by Bee's mom at my Mom's house. Bee and I spent the entire sleepover pretty much (at least the parts not spent sleeping) watching Wolf's Rain. A good, solid eight hours of it. ^_^ We finished the series, but unfortunately, her DVD player started skipping in the last five minutes of the entire show. >.< We ended up having to sneak downstairs and watch the end of it there.

We discussed it for a while, I burned the two soundtracks for her on her computer, then we PM'ed KC on Gaia (which I, by the way, am not a member of and never will be), and totally disturbed her.

The conversation went something like this:

KC: Hi Bee, what're you doing online so late?
Bee: Augh, Darcia threw up green goop and Kristin and I had to get down on our hands and knees and clean it up. Bad Darcia!
KC: Who's Darcia? O.o;
Bee: The hot sexy wolf man with the different colored eyes. DUH! He wants to get to Paradise, y'know. He ate the rock, but then he turned into the solid...lava...stuff...I don't know what it was. But that's okay. The flower sucked his eyeball up.
KC: I'm confused... It doesn't help that I'm not at home.
Bee: Have you been abducted?! Has he hypnotized you with his eye yet?! Did he SEDUCE YOU???!!! Did he break the seal to Paradise yet??!!
KC: I'm babysitting. O_O
Bee: *Laughs* C'mon KC! You're taking this far too seriously!

It was entertaining. Then we copied and pasted the whole conversation and sent it to Rachel. I'll bet she got a kick out of it.

After that, started watching Little Nemo (Hahaha...The first time I typed 'little' it came out as 'nittle' XD), which I hadn't seen since I was about five years old. This was absolutely fascinating to see again (and I seriously think there are parts of it that affected my subconscious deeply), but we fell asleep in the middle of it, and finished it when we woke up in the morning. I slept on a recliner, while Bee slept on the couch.

In the morning, we finished Little Nemo, and then spent the rest of the time 'til I got dropped off at 10:30 AM discussing anime in general and watching about...five minutes...of Last Exile. ^^

Yesterday, after coming home from Bee's, I spent a lot of my time outside with the animals. The weather has been really beautiful the last few days. I picked a bunch of green grass for the chickens to eat, I threw the ball for Lily for at least an hour, I ran around with Tia, and I brushed Rivi. Last night I watched FMA and GitS:SAC, both of which were interesting and held my interest. Then I went to bed...

Today, we're supposed to go to Roseville around 1 PM... Nicole might come if her Mom doesn't decide to take her and her little brother ice skating. First Mom is going to take Rivi to Empire Mine so she can walk him around (it's more for trailer practice than anythinng else), though.

See you all! Hitchi, you can try to call whenever you want (and whichever day works for you). I'll probably not be home 'til about 7 PM, though.
