I had a nice snow day...
Jan. 8th, 2005 09:41 amNow we have three 3-day weekends in a row. ^^ (Finals are next week, and that week will be three days long: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.)
I spent the majority of yesterday surfing the 'net. If I had actually had money, it would have been quite a shopping spree. However, I didn't have money, so instead it just added lots of bookmarks of things I want.
Why is it everything I want is either imported, rare, or old? <.< Lots and lots of anime things: imported; the Fluke soundtrack (which I've suddenly decided I need): exceedingly rare; the Watership Down soundtrack and The Last Unicorn stuff: oooold. Oh well. It gives me something to do. ^_^ I love the search.
The parts of yesterday not spent online were spent drawing and coloring. I finished coloring this Vulpix morph drawing, which I did ages ago and finally got around to finishing.

Sorry, no finished scans due to the digital camera still being out of order.
I also inked Toboe in the schoolgirl outfit, and a Tsume/Toboe picture I did of Toboe sitting (human illusion, not his actual wolf form, for some bizarre reason), and looking back at Tsume (wolf), who has his head on Toboe's shoulder. There's also a chibi Hige and Kiba in the background, looking bored (in Hige's case)/sleeping (in Kiba's case).
Then I got a babysitting job from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, watching Ryan's friend Jake's 5-year-old sister Ruth. I was going to get a ride over to their house, but their power went out because of the storm so she came to my house instead.
She was really sweet and fun to be around, so it was no trouble at all. We played Uno together on my bed, watched the anime movie Junkers Come Here! (which is adorable, by the way, though no one ever has heard of it), she read me a book, we did some drawings, and went back to playing Uno. By the time her Mom came back, she didn't want to leave. ^_^ I was paid $20, and told her mother that I would watch her any time. I said goodbye, and then eventually went to bed.
Nicole and I were planning on hanging out together at some point, but Nicole wasn't doing her homework fast enough (*tsk tsk*), so that never worked out. She was also stuck babysitting her little brother (and I was babysitting, too), so that wouldn't have worked out.
I'll call my friends today and see what they're up to. ^_^
