Ughhhh

Sorry to vent here (and really, I'm not angry--just a bit annoyed), but it's not fair!

Nicole and Cody and I were planning on hanging out all day today, so I called Nicole up. Apparently, Marina called at the same time and said, "Get down to the gas station in 15 minutes! We're having play rehearsals until 4:30 PM today!" Nicole didn't want to go to those rehearsals, but this was all resolved when, two seconds later, Nicole's mom walks in the room and goes, "Nicole, we're leaving in ten minutes to pick up Dilan. You have to help drive now that you got your permit." Nicole got her permit yesterday and it's a three-hour drive altogether to pick Dilan up from his Dad's house. >.<

So, now I have two options:

a) Go over to Cody's and play with the kittens 'til she gets back. (Hmmm, appealing. I think I'll do that if it's okay with Dad and everything.)

b) Finish drawing Toboe in a schoolgirl outfit. (X3 I'm a sick person and very much amused by this.)

OR (ooo, stroke of brilliance here!) I could go over to Cody's and play with the kittens while drawing Toboe in the schoolgirl outfit. I like that idea. :3 Maybe I should call Makayla, too. *Schemes*

Nyaa~!

Today turned out nice and fun. ^^

After I made my journal entry, Makayla and I walked over to Cody's and basically just sat around watching AMVs and playing with the kittens. This somehow managed to amuse us for at least several hours, after which Makayla decided she wanted to go shopping downtown. So she left, and Cody and I continued sitting around doing nothing for a while. I watched Cody play Devil May Cry and made random comments about it.

Cody and I got a little bored after a while, so we dropped in at Nate's house. As usual, he barely noticed we were there and commenced playing Warcraft on his computer. His little brother and a guy who I presume was his little brother's friend were there, too, watching Cody play...Prince of Persia, I think it was. It doesn't matter, I can't keep my video games straight and I don't care to change that. *Not a video game person* I continued watching and making random comments, but stopped every now and then to call Nicole's house and see if she was home yet.

Then we started playing Super Smash Bros. Melée. Cody and I kept being cute Pokémon, and I kept dying before everyone else (not enough practice, y'see), while I went on and on about Pokémon. Nate was pretty amused by my rantings over teh ebilness of the dub, but his little brother was acting like I was the stupidest person alive for liking Pokémon. X3 This only started after I was talking about it, so I don't think he noticed the fact that I was wearing a Pokémon shirt.

Then...errr...we watched more AMVs, and then we watched Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (I think I got the title right, at least) trailers. Pretty shiny graphics. *_* I was the translator for the Japanese ones, and a darn bad one at that. X3 (The fact that I know very little about Final Fantasy other than the names of all the characters and the fact that it's an RPG and that chocobos exist was probably why I was only about to understand about a fifth of the dialogue.)

Finally I got a hold of Nicole on the phone, so Cody and I drove and picked her and Dilan up (Nicole was babysitting), grabbed the RahXephon DVDs from my house, and went and watched RahXephon on Cody's huge-screen TV. And I do mean huge. We only got six episodes in, but it was nice starting the series with other people around. The kittens watched parts of it with us, and we kept having food breaks because it was around dinnertime.

After we finished the six episodes of RahXephon, Thomas randomly showed up, so we hung around in Cody's room and made Thomas watch yet more AMVs. We subject EVERYONE to those things. XP

Then Nicole's mom came and picked Nicole and Dilan up, and Cody was going to give me a ride home, but Nicole's mom offered, so I went with her. She was kind of angry when I said we had to drop by Nate's house first (I forgot my sketchpad with the halfway-finished crossdressing Toboe and my Inuyasha calendar (which was the reference for the said schoolgirl outfit) at his house). It was scary how mad she got at just a 2-3 minute detour. It really was that short of a detour, too.

So, I didn't finish Toboe yet because I was too busy. But I will tomorrow! *Evil cackle* Anime boys in schoolgirl outfits are teh sekushi. >:3 I'm thinking after I finish his human form in the schoolgirl outfit, I'm going to do his wolf form in it, too. Just for kicks. XD

Unfortunately, I can't scan it for a while because my digital camera still isn't working. ;_; I'll be sure to post it the second we get our stupid camera working, okay?
