Last night I had lots of fun bidding on things on Ebay. XD In a rush of happy spending, I bought myself the rest of RahXephon (fwee!) and the Gravitation Manga Artbook #1. Funfun. I feel accomplished. XD Bidding on things is also officially addictive. I sat there on my Mom's computer last night for about two hours, refreshing about every two minutes--just waiting for anyone to challenge my bid. A few people did, but I won anyway.
I did well, if you ask me. I expected to spent at least $140 on the 7 DVDs of RahXephon (figuring I pay $20 for each). All in all, I spent $89 on all 7 DVDs. That's including any shipping and handling, etc. Go me! Thanks to Hitchi, too--she was a BIG help in this whole process!
After my auctions ended, we (meaning my Mom, brother, and I) went out to dinner at Big A's. Everyone thought I was crazy buying an orange freeze when the weather outside was quite frigid. (About low 30's, high 20's. It's been like this the past two days or so) I also had a peach crépe (is that accented correctly? I don't know the first thing about French...) and a grilled cheese sandwich.
Today was good considering it's a Monday after a few days off. I get to write (and illustrate) a children's story in Creative Writing, which ought to be interesting. I'm going to have to chant to myself while writing it, "No killing characters. No causing them serious physical or emotional harm. No violence. No angst. No death. No scariness." I don't know what that leaves me to write about. XD
I felt weird today. Restless, almost hyper, but not exactly in a happy, chirpy way. Just restless.
I have a bunch of things to do. Namely:
- Apply for my Japanese final again. It keeps rejecting my application for some reason, and I don't know why. --;
- Start getting stuff together to send TRF-Chan's package. (Though I probably won't send it 'til next week or something.)
- Send e-mails to my relatives explaining about my CDs and pleading for money to buy my CDs back instead of gifts.
- Search for the Wolf's Rain Limited Edition Manga. Borders still hasn't gotten it in, and I'm getting very, very impatient about it. --;;
- Homework, as usual.
In English, we're watching a good movie--it's called Little Man Tate, I think. ^^;; I'm enjoying it so far.
Selah might (read: will almost surely) be getting the hotel rooms for Anime Expo 2005 for FREE! It's AWESOME! Her dad works in LA while we're at the convention, so that's why. ^^ It'll be so much fun. I can't wait for the big 'cons to roll up again, but I have a quite a while before that happens. That's actually a good thing, though-- I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do for my Kumagorou costume. @.@ Selah and I had a great conversation about anime conventions, AMVs, RahXephon, and Eva today. *Cries* She thinks Ayato is girly! What's wrong with her?! Of course, all she's seen of RahXephon is one AMV, so... I'm sure she'll change her mind when she sees him in the actual show. *LUVS Ayato*
Nyaa... I'm going to go try to get them to accept my request for my Japanese final.
I feel bad because this entry is so short. v.v
