It's been quite the weekend!

Let's see...where to start?

First off, on Saturday night we had Makayla's birthday party. It was at a local resturant called Asian Garden, but somehow Nicole's mom got the wrong resturant and Nicole was left waiting at Asia, a resturant right next to our headquarters, Café Mekka. So Cody and I had to go fetch her. On the way back from picking Nicole up, I mentioned that I intended on getting Makayla an exact replica of Tohma's hat at K-Mart. Cody, naturally, offered to drive us there so we could buy her the hat. We were rather late for dinner as a result.

Dinner was hilarious. For the entire dinner, I was facing away from one of the walls, and I presumed that where that wall was, there was another part of the room because that particular wall had a large mirror on it. So I was being a little quieter than usual, because I didn't want to interrupt the other people. You can imagine my embarrassment when I realized that it was merely a mirror behind me, and we were the only ones in the room.

Kirstin got the funniest fortune in her fortune cookie. It was something like "You and your wife will prosper and grow old together." XP We were joking about that for ages.

Makayla's little brother took tons of funny pictures of us. I wish I had some copies of those--they were great. I was using the chopsticks as walrus tusks and wearing my neko ears the whole time, so I can only imagine how those turned out.

Once dinner had dispersed, we all went over the Cody's house for an hour or so and for no apparent reason. I scribbled some rather lovely chibi wolves, iguanas, nekos, sporks, etc. in Sharpie in his sketch pad. He and Nicole were going to spend the night at my house, but my Mom was unwilling to give Nicole a ride to Driver's Ed the next morning, so we cancelled those plans.

So, once I went home, that night and morning were entirely uneventful. But imagine my surprise when Sunday afternoon, Cody and Chris show up at my Mom's house (which, for the record, is quite far from Cody's house, unlike my Dad's house). This is not the exciting part.

The exciting part is that Cody showed up in RYUICHI SAKUMA'S CONCERT SHIRT. No joke. Perfect replica of the shirt. He even looks a fair bit like Ryuichi. I love the boy. I glomped him very, very thoroughly, and he informed me that we were going to Sister's (a consignment store in downtown Nevada City) to try on ridiculous costumes and such. The three of us took a detour and ended up at the Dollar Store, because Cody, apparently, wanted some candy. We bought some random fruit candy and ate it in the car.

Sister's was the greatest thing ever. It was Cody, Chris, Makayla, Kathryn, and I, all trying on the most ridiculous costumes imaginable for two or three hours. Chris found the greatest costume of all--a bright flaming pink dress/coat/spandex thing, worn over bright green pants, with a furry, neon green pimp hat, and platform shoes. It was truly a sight to behold. I really wish I had my camera just then.

Cody and I then decided we should leave the store, because Nicole was supposed to get out of Driver's Ed at around four and we wanted to stop by my house to do some Nittle Grasper costume researching. We did that successfully, and then watched my dad's friend's son play the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King game on my little brother's GameCube. I'm not sure how that amused us for over an hour, but it did. Cody helped him out a lot on the game.

To Nicole's house. Cody decided, quite randomly indeed, that he needed a shower. So he took it at Nicole's house, though she wasn't there yet. Nicole's little brother Dilan offered us a whole bunch of candy and basically everything else in the kitchen (we declined nearly all of it), and then Troy (Nicole's mom's boyfriend) informed us that Nicole wouldn't be home until around 6 PM. Cody and I decided to go to his house while we waited for the time to pass.

At Cody's, I watched Cody play computer games, drew more weird drawings in his sketchpad, and got my Pikachu costume ready for wearing. It was, after all, Halloween, and even though we're all in high school, we're never too old for Trick-or-Treating. Seriously.

This time, when we went to Nicole's, she was actually there. She, too, was turned into a fangirlish puddle by Cody's Ryu-chan costume. She also decided she didn't want to wear her Faye costume (understandably) out in the streets of Nevada Cuty. So I let her wear my neko ears (Troy had stolen hers), and we decided that was a costume enough.

We set off. By we, I mean Nicole (as the "Pack Neko"), Cody (as Ryu-chan <3), Makayla (as Tohma), a random guy named Nate who we persuaded to come with us (he had a book cover on his head as a costume), and myself (as Pikachu). The Trick-or-Treating was very successful, and we got what felt like at least thirty pounds of candy. Much of the time we spent Trick-or-Treating was spent glomping/cuddling/praising Cody, and he even dared provoke us further by walking in a very Ryuichi-like manner. More glomps. Cody gets lots and lots and lots of love.

Makayla, on several different occasions, had to fix my tail. It kind of fell apart and needs some sewing now. ;_; She did an excellent job, though, and I was completely thankful. This has nothing to do with that particular incident, but she's acting more and more like Tohma by the day.

Eventually, we split the candy between us and had to leave, because Halloween was a school night. Darn. It was a truly fun night, though, and I slept well.

And today...was very normal. Went to school. Did normal school things. Not much to report there. Went over to Nicole's with Cody tonight. Sat on Nicole's bed. Watched my friends do their homework.

Eh...I'd better go. Speaking of homework, I still have some math homework to do.

So you know, this whole entry was written in a rushed manner, hence the lack of writing skills, really. I was just determined to get that weekend down, because I would prefer to never forget it. It was just a lot of fun.
