YAY!

OMG, Hitchi, I LOVE YOU! Got the package today. <3 It arrived safely, and in excellent condition (in addition to earlier than expected.) That just made my [already good] day! I haven't watched any yet, but I will soon. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ I'm really happy that I have such great friends. ^^ Again, thank you SO much!

Anyway. Time to log my day, as usual.

Got up. Was groggy and tired. Listened to the choir for a little while before school.

Rae wasn't at school today, which effectively squashed any chance of working on our dialogue for Creative Writing. With nothing else to do, I started fiddling with the line quality of a cute Nittle Grasper drawing I did last night. I somehow managed to make that fiddling and erasing and such last for the whole period, and at the same time not accomplish anything.

During US History, something unexpected happened. Mr. Ostrom suddenly said, "Oh yeah, here's a career fair at school today!" and released us to the career fair in the Ali Gym the rest of the period. Well, I hunted Cody down and glomped him, and then we spent the rest of the period perusing, talking to the people at the various booths about all sorts of careers, and getting weird freebies. I got an ice cream scooper from Washington Mutual. o.O;; I also talked to some people about veterinary careers and things, which may come in handy in the future.

During Anatomy, we had a quiz. This would normally be bad, but I got 6/6 on it, and therefore was proud of myself. There's a test tomorrow, which means I have to study tonight. Oh well. It's not a particularly hard unit, so I think I'll be all right.

Did the usual my TA period. Ran errands in my ears.

Lunch was funny. We strolled around the campus, and I drove Nicole insane (or would sane be the better word?) by loudly proclaiming random statements in Japanese. Really weird stuff. I was calling people things like "Roketto-Dan no niwatori" (Team Rocket's chicken) and "Myuutsu no ashi" (Mewtwo's leg) and other such nonsense. She wasn't actually annoyed, though. She thought it was funny. n_n So did I.

Trig was...completely normal. Like Trig usually is. Trevor was back (apparently he had been suspended for unknown reasons), but I didn't really get to talk to him because he sits all the way across the classroom now. I'm assuming our teacher changed the seating chart as a result of Trevor asking me things about Gravitation during class. We kept being disruptive.

We continued watching Dead Poet's Society in English. Also, we planned our Halloween party for tomorrow. I still haven't decided what to bring, but I'll figure something out.

Then I went to the library for a while after school, but I ended up discussing my drawings with Selah outside the library for a good portion of the time. And I reminded her about the convention on November 14th. I'm willing to bet she's going to forget it again, so I'll probably give her a note or something about it. Finally, I went in the library and talked to Erin for a little while. I don't remember what about.

Mom picked me up, and we went over to her house for a while. My Grandma sent me $31 for Halloween. Another great thing. n_n I'll probably spend it on more RahXephon or something. I haven't decided yet. Or I could buy Leaf Green... Hmmm...decisions.

Anyway, that's how today went. Quite a fun day. Rachel was running around in her Vash coat, which was kind of entertaining in itself. ^^ Speaking of costumes, I decided not to wear the Pikachu costume to school tomorrow. I don't want to ruin it (it's better to save it for anime conventions anyway), and the whole tail thing would be too distressing. Tail on, tail off, tail on, tail off.

I'll just paint some whiskers on my face and wear my ears and be a neko. Not creative or anything, and most people are used to my neko ears anyway, but that way if it rains tomorrow it won't hurt anything. It's all pretty and overcast, so it's possible.

Oh, and I'm proud of that Nittle Grasper picture I did. It's cute. ^^ I'll have to scan it, but I don't really want to ink it, and the wispy pencil doesn't show up when I take pictures with my digital camera. And my scanner doesn't work.

I think I'll go listen to music and do my homework, and hopefully I'll have time to watch RahXephon tonight.

Thanks again again, Hitchi! Yes, that second 'again' was intentional.

As the little fox below this entry says, I'm ecstatic.
