I feel guilty for not writing an entry yesterday. There simply wasn't enough time to do *anything*, though, much less go online and jabber for just under an hour.

Yesterday I got out of school (homework-free!), went home, did a whole bunch of chores, and then we headed off to get the new horses in Chico (about an hour and a half away).

So, I met Rivi (short for River Nights) for the first time. ^^ He's really, really beautiful (a light dappled-gray), and sweet as can be, too. He's incredibly well-behaved for his age (he's only four, and obviously has been well-treated for his whole life). Out of the deal, we also got an appaloosa who you can't tell is an appaloosa named Raphael. Unfortunately, he's not staying, because mom is giving him to one of the women she works with tomorrow. This is probably going to delay the Tahoe trip by a day, which is too bad. I'm really hoping Nicole, Cody, and Makayla can come over tomorrow and spend the night anyway. ;_; It's supposed to snow in Tahoe, which is just completely awesome. We absolutely must go in the hot tub while it's snowing! (Provided it does actually snow.)

Anyway, when we got to the ranch, it was huge and had lots of paint and quarter horses everywhere. We took Rivi out and ran him around the roundpen, just to make sure he was moving all right. Lily was also tearing in circles around the ring as fast as she could go, and I kept laughing at her because she was dashing past me so quickly. Then, we let Rivi into a gigantic square pen with lots of space and he was galloping full-speed for quite a while. Ryan thought Rivi was going to run us over, because we were in the pen with him, but he was only upset because he couldn't see the other horses and he hadn't been let out into a lot of space for quite a while.

Getting the two horses into the trailer was difficult, because they kept putting their front legs in the trailer and then pausing, reluctant to go any further. Eventually, we managed to get them both in with the help of a girl who was probably about twelve. It was sweet of her to help, and she seemed to really care about the horses. Once Rivi and Raffie were in the trailer, they were well-behaved, and all of us got home completely unscathed at about 9:30 PM. However, again, they were reluctant to get out of the trailer. With a little coaxing, we got them both out, and I held Raffie for a while while Mom and Ryan got Rivi out. Raffie was just standing there quietly, even though Rascal was trotting around the pasture only about five feet away.

We put both horses in the ring (for lack of room, with three other horses at our house, and the burro), made sure they settled in all right, and then went off to bed.

Today has been relatively unexciting.

The Pokémon episode today was...pretty disturbing. I knew about the whole crossdressing Sato-chan thing, but still. He didn't pull it off as well as Shuichi in the schoolgirl outfit. ^^;; The whole Romeo/Juliet thing was...eh. Romeo was annoying, and his voice acting seemed worse than the usual Pokémon voice acting. Also, I found Illumise and Volbeat kind of scary. I don't know why--but I couldn't get over the feeling that I found them excessively creepy. Overall, not one of my favorite episodes, but kind of fun to watch nonetheless. Poor Ash, being chased around by Brock like that...

I've spent a fairly large chunk of today taking screenshots from Wolf's Rain episodes 6-10 and 27-30. Lots and lots of Darcia-in-wolf-form shots that I plan on studying, and a lot of dramatic pictures, too. Mew, I love the animation of that show. I was also fiddling with Photoshop 7.0, which Cody gave me, and even though I haven't the faintest how to use it, I was having fun editing random pictures. I even made a LiveJournal icon by...*gasp* taking a picture and adding text! What an accomplishment, Kristin! Good job! I can't believe you took all that effort!

Well, last episode of Wolf's Rain on tonight on CN. I wonder what part they're going to edit out this time...? Oh, and I *KNOW* there is going to be blood editing. This is, without a doubt, the goriest episode of Wolf's Rain, and they edited 29's blood (which was nothing compared to this), so... They're going to have quite the job cut out for them with all that blood flying everywhere. The bloody parts with Hige, Blue, and Tsume won't be too hard to edit, because the blood is mainly stationary, but the Kiba vs. Darcia fight scenes will be harder on those editors.

*Tries to imagine what would happen if someone tried to edit the blood out of Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal*

*Laughs*

I know that about half the [adult swim] newbies are going to be pretty confused by the last little bit of the ending of Wolf's Rain. It'll actually be kind of fun enlightening them about it, though. If anyone has any questions, you know who to ask. ^_~ *Love-love-LOVES the ending*

Darn, I still haven't played Fire Red yet... Well, I'll hopefully finish my Japanese course pretty soon, so maybe I'll get to actually play it.

The parts of the day not spent on taking Wolf's Rain screenshots were spent cleaning the house top and bottom (of my own free will (!!!)), meandering around aimlessly, feeding the chickens, talking to the dogs as if they're people, and watching shows about supernatural things. Another thing I like about Halloween--the explosion of supernatural shows that come on around it. I like documentaries on supernatural happenings. ^^;

Huh...before Inuyasha tonight ("Flee the hair, Inuyasha!" XP *Absolutely cannot take Inuyasha seriously, but finds it funny and great to parody*), I have to go walk the dogs and check on Rivi and Raffie. That gives me...an hour or so to surf Bulbagarden, read LiveJournals, and save even more LiveJournal icons. I already have about 20 MB worth of LiveJournal icons, but I can never get enough. Never. *_* If anyone wants LiveJournal icons from Pokémon, Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Gravitation, Last Exile, Witch Hunter Robin, FLCL, or DNAngel, feel free to ask. I could zip them and e-mail them to people who are interested.

I feel bad for not doing Geodude's request for a Flannery drawing. Absolutely no time lately, though. Hopefully I'll be able to do the picture next week or something.

Heh heh, when I get back to school next week, we're having a dress-up week. One of the days is "Bring a Stuffed Animal to School" (yes, this is high school, believe it or not), and I'm happy. I'm going to bring a giant Pikachu plushie, Kiba, Toboe, and Ein (decked out in his anime convention gear: orange sunglasses, a Gravitation backstage pass, Anime Expo badge, clip-on earring, and red, white, and blue headband). I just know I'll get a bunch of weird looks dragging those around, especially with Ein all dressed up and all, and my Pikachu being as big as he is.

Anyway, I'm going to go read people's journals and stuff. I may not make an entry in this for four or five days, with the Tahoe trip and everything going on--but then again, I might just have time for an entry tomorrow. We'll see.
