Sep. 3rd, 2004 05:08 pmSeeing as this is indeed my first entry in my LiveJournal (posts on the Wolf's Rain community excluded), I would love to make a grand and shining entrance, but truth be told... I'm far too tired from to do such a thing. So I think I'll take the more traditional route and introduce myself to everyone who actually has the time to go around reading random people's LiveJournals.
I'm Pacific Pikachu (in case you couldn't tell), but my real identity is...well, I don't really have an identity. I seem to be what happens when you smash together a bunch of mismatched anime into a person (Pokémon/Wolf's Rain/Gravitation, anyone?), with a bit of an odd personality and some artistic stuff here and there. I'm a 16-year-old walking contradiction.
In case you were wondering...(which I know you weren't), my favorite anime include:
Is My Belief System/Life: Pokémon/Pocket Monsters (Much more into the sub, however. The dub is...meh, although quite entertaining at times.)
Completely and Totally Influenced My Life: Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop
Made a Tremendous Impact: Last Exile, Witch Hunter Robin, Gravitation, RahXephon, FLCL, Miyazaki movies of all shapes and sizes, the Rurouni Kenshin OAVs (not the series itself, however--the OAVs), Infinite Ryvius...
Well, I think that's all of the significant series in my life. (All of the above I could be considered seriously obsessed with/addicted to.) I consider myself a very serious anime fan having spanned almost every piece of anime fandom (think: art, cosplay, writing, forums, conventions, AMV-viewing, glomping, SOUNDTRACK OBSESSING (!!!), etc., etc.) and regularly attend conventions around California in my ridiculous Pikachu costume.
I dabble in artsy sorts of things, such as fanart and fanfiction writing. For the most part, my artwork is animal/pokémon/creature-based, but about 1/4 of my art (probably a little more) ends up being [human] anime characters I enjoy.
I don't suppose I'll be posting here too often, but when I do, expect it to be huge seeing as I'm a bigmouth and use lots of run-on sentences just to boggle people. It's fun. I like confusing people more than can be healthy.
And I just made this post on 5:28 PM by the clock on this computer. (Not to imply that I trust this computer's clock, because I don't.)
528 is my favorite number, so this is a bit of a coincedence, né?
