Yay, got my Pikachu 3DS XL without a problem! As I expected, there were two left at the closest Target to me, which is a half-hour away. Apparently there were lines at the stores another half-hour further down the road, which doesn't surprise me (it's a more populous area). The guy working in electronics is also a Pokémon fan, so we talked Pokémon for a bit while I was buying it and the new Mystery Dungeon game.

I considered keeping my blue 3DS XL, but I think selling it to my cousin is a better option for a number of reasons. I'll have some money to spend on more Pokémon stuff, plus now he'll have one and we can play stuff together (he and I are pals), and if I do want to get a second one, I'll probably either wait for another Pokémon edition (maybe upon the release of X/Y?) or buy another Pikachu one eventually. I do feel slightly sad passing it on, but that's just me being silly and sentimental.

The Pikachu 3DS XL is really cute! Despite the funny placement of the cameras, I really like the design. I'll have to take a picture of it with my Pikachu DS Lite.

I'm really happy to have yet another Pokémon DS system! Now I have PokéPark, Mew, Pikachu DS Lite, and Pikachu 3DS XL.
