White 2

Disclaimer: I'm playing White 2 like crazy right now, so I may not be online much for the next few days. I think probably some (most?) of you guys are doing the same. Just don't be offended if I don't reply, it's not personal! I'll play catch-up later hopefully.

In regards to White 2, I'm having fun with it! I love the diversity of Pokémon you can catch right away, and all the new stuff to do is awesome. All of the side things to do will be even more wonderful to come back to once I finish the main game, as staying entertained after that is the struggle. (Well, not really, I have 268+ hours on Black, and it's not like I ran out of things to do, it just got more routine/tedious...) I'm currently doing some battling and whatnot before fighting Elesa. My team might have a rough time with her because I have nothing good against her and two water-types, so I'm just fighting all the trainers in the area until I've exhausted that.

My only complaint is really silly: I caught a female Azurill, Fizzy, and was all excited to raise an Azumarill because I adore Azumarill and haven't raised one in a long time. Then, Fizzy changed genders when she/he evolved. ;; Not that there's anything wrong with Fizzy being a boy, but I wanted Fizzy to be a girl! I caught a girl, after all! LOL. I don't think there's anything I can do about it, though, so Fizzy will just have to be a boy.

My team isn't solidified yet, and I'll soon transfer over Persephone, my Unfezant, for training and team membership, but here's what I have with me, anyway:

- Fizzy, M, Azumarill, level 26.
- Fakir, M, Psyduck, level 26.
- Rio, M, Lucario, level 28 (May need a different name, as I've used this one before. Also the name of one of my roosters.)
- Persnicket, F, Servine, level 26.
- Needles, M, Jolteon, level 26.
- Bixby, F, Herdier, kind of a placeholder and for Pick Up. But she is Adamant, so I might train her eventually.

Once I'm later in the game, I'd love to do some social things over wi-fi if any of you are interested! I need to find some local Pokéfriends, too, ahhh. Poképarties, please? ;A;

Yeah, I'm doing the same thing. I'm not playing Black 2 quite as much as I would like (I somehow injured my wrists, which limits how long I can play before I need to take a break) but it's fun. One request: if you post about White 2, could you put any spoilers under a cut?

Also, since when could Pokemon change genders? Is this a glitch or is this something I overlooked with the gen 4 babies?

And I'd be interested in some wi-fi fun... later, of course. Right now my team consists of a level 21 Dewott and a level 19 Growlithe. Kind of worthless for wifi battles.

I've heard about, specifically Azurill changing genders when it evolves into Marill because more Azurill are female when Marill are 50/50. : T It's really weird, and I don't know if it's a mistake or if it's intentional.

I hope your wrists feel better soon! What rotten timing! ;A; And yeah, I intend to put any spoilers under a cut, because I've been avoiding major spoilers myself, too, and intend to continue that myself. I don't mind trainer designs and order and things like that, but I think it's more fun to go into the plot knowing very little.

It's an Azurill thing. Because Azurill's gender ratio is different than its evolutions, it sometimes spontaneously changes from female to male. I had read about it before, but sort of forgot until it happened.

Yeah, I had heard about it, too, but sort of forgot until it actually happened! LOL. I guess that's Fizzy's claim to fame, now, or something. I do wonder if it's something the programmers forgot or if they left it in on purpose, too. I wish a Pokédex entry or character dialogue or something would bring it up to solve the mystery!
