Art Dump post!
Aug. 1st, 2011 10:08 pmYou can ignore this post if you follow me on deviantART, it's just the same stuff I post there. Otherwise, here's like sixty-some pieces of art from the last few years. Arranged very roughly from recent to old, but note the roughly part. Mostly Pokéart.

This is what I worked on today! Two of my Pokémon OCs. Here's their little summaries:
Pacific the surfing Pikachu -- My main Pokémon OC who has been around in some form or another since I was in 5th grade or so (and the source of my username). She's a mellow, cheerful Pikachu who was taught to surf by her mother, a Raichu, as they lived in a forest near the ocean. She's not a splendid battler, her main weapon is the element of surprise with her Surf attack. She is somewhat shy, but comes around when treated gently. She can be stubborn and mostly prefers to be left alone, but is very loyal to those she likes. She loves shiny things and sweet things like Pecha berries. She has a pink surfboard with a lightning bolt down the middle, and wears a red and orange flower (either ear, not picky about the details of the flower) behind either ear, and a blue handkerchief. She has blue eyes.
Kushami the Minccino -- An outgoing, flirtatious, dramatic Minccino. He is very fast, but less adept a battler than your average Minccino. He would be reluctant to admit it, but his real passions are musicals and contests. He loves girls, regardless of whether they're Pokémon or human, and is quite the charmer. He tends to turn tail in serious battles and he hates confrontation. He can be rather wimpy...unless he's trying to impress someone. Frequently he will wear props from musicals and when he's alone, he likes to practice his appeals and dancing. He has four white paws and white spots over his eyes.
I want to give him an accessory, but I haven't been able to think of one I liked. Any ideas? If not he'll just stay as he is, but I would like suggestions!
I know they're not terribly original or special, but I love them nonetheless. ♥

Date: 2011-08-02 06:40 am (UTC)I love the wolves pictures! I don't know if you remember, but a long time ago I think we did an Xmas card exchange (or at least you sent me one) and it had a pencil sketch of a wolf on it ^_^ I have it pinned on my bulletin board full of cards.. I love the one with the white wolf too and the way you colored it with blues and some hint of pink, it's pretty :)

Date: 2011-08-04 02:38 am (UTC)Yep! I love doing mascot costumes, they're fun. I'm not a furry, but it's the most accurate way to make costumes of Pokémon and whatnot, and I love making the heads.

Date: 2011-08-04 02:40 am (UTC)Haha, thanks! That's Kiba, and the sketch of that seriously took less than five minutes. The coloring took maybe fifteen, but yeah. XD Considering, not too bad.
I keep meaning to comment on your entries but my laptop's not working again so no good. I may give you very belated comments, just be warned! XD
