I got in a greater white-fronted goose today, also known as a tule goose! I was expecting to get in a domestic, seeing as the majority of waterfowl we get in with Wildlife Rehab and Release are domestics, but no. These geese only winter in California, their breeding grounds are up in Alaska. Poor bird was likely shot by some asshole hunter. She has a break near her shoulder and when I tubed her to give her some Metacam (pain medicine) she had blood in her mouth. I'm going to take her to the vet ASAP, hopefully tomorrow if possible. If there's no chance of recovery and flight, she'll go to Darrold's place near Graylodge to live out her days in his huge fenced yard with ponds and other non-releasable waterfowl.

Tomorrow we have an adopter coming to look at Tippy, and Wednesday I have a poultry friend coming to check out my seramas and then I'm going to go check out his seramas, haha. Ought to be fun.

That's pretty much what's going on~

Anyone have extra Fire, Leaf, or Water stones you could trade me in B/W? I have Thunderstones, Sun Stones, Moon Stones, maybe an extra Dawn and Dusk Stone or two, and a bunch of other extra evolution items (Reaper's Cloth, Razor Claw, Upgrade, etc.) that I could provide in return, or lots of Pokémon!

Uhhh this is random since I haven't been on LJ in a while, but we're moving to Mountain View/South San Francisco Bay and I think that's somewhere sort of near where you live kinda? Anyway, umm, I hope our paths might be able to cross in person sometime :D

Awesome! I am three hours away from San Francisco, but I head down that way pretty often! I will definitely come visit you sometime! We should go to Japantown together sometime. ♥

Also, when are you moving? If it's before the end of May, you should definitely come to Fanime in San Jose!
