Pokémon Black
Mar. 12th, 2011 03:21 pmFeeling quite a bit better after a good night's rest.
I finished the main plot of Black! Ahhhh, so amazing! Definitely, in my opinion, the best Pokémon game thusfar. Without a doubt! Totally epic and awesome. I love these games so much. ♥
I even did it without using my newly caught Reshiram, too! My team is so great, I love them. ;~~; I lost once each to N and Ghetsis, but considering you don't get a chance to save before battling them after major achievements I don't think that's too bad. I caught Reshiram in the first Ultra Ball I threw, haha, so easy. N's room was indeed rather creepy. It doesn't creep me out as much as Skyarrow Bridge, though, for some reason. There's something about the music on that bridge.
N is a great character. I don't usually like non-protagonists, though I guess one could argue he's sort of a protagonist (anti-hero?), but he's interesting and a bit more complex than most Pokémon game characters. He's an innocent character, and just misguided and used. I don't know if you meet him at any point later in the game, but I hope he goes far off somewhere else where he can start over and be a normal trainer.Or there is still the option of coming to this world and becoming an animal rights activist with meeee. XD
Well, there's still tons more to do! I think I might just aim to complete my Pokédex in this game, too. *A* I was eleven away from finishing the Pokédex in Diamond and just too lazy to evolve those ones I was missing, so that should give me a good head start. And of course I'll go play all the side stories and find the seven Sages and all that. Lots of fun ahead!
Seriously, though, this game. So much amazing. ♥
(Psst, this is random, but my favorite side Pokémon game is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. If you haven't played it, you ought to! It has a great storyline that almost made me tear up. Both times I played it, in fact... ;____;)
