pacificpikachuIt's been a somewhat stressful weekend. I've spent it mostly taking care of my mom, and last night I took her to the ER because she couldn't take the visual distortions she was having any more. Even though the ER wasn't busy, it took them like three hours to do anything for her for some unknown reason. :/ They did finally get a medication that's working on the symptoms, though, so she's doing much better today. Got home last night at 4 AM, discovered I had lost the Larvitar plushplush I was bidding on, and got to sleep by maybe 5 AM. I've just spent the rest of the day sitting around and being bleh and searching Yahoo!Japan in hoping of finding something rare I'm after to cheer me up. Did find an awesome lot I thought I could GA, but unfortunately there was already a GA for it that I had somehow missed. Ah, darn! I want a tufty Pichu Pokédoll, and of course that's the one that's claimed. T___T
Found a few things I'm mildly interested in, but that's it. I feel like my luck has dried up as far as collecting goes. ;; Everything I want goes up higher than I'm willing to pay, or I'm unable to find them... I need some collector's luck back to cheer me up. Also, chat has been down lately.
Things haven't been that bad or anything, just kind of uneventful and blah. I want to do fun things, but this weekend I haven't had the energy or motivation to do much. At least my poultry are doing well.
The Salula was having a bad day the other day and was all dirty and gross and being picked on by the other chickens, so I isolated her from the other chickens and gave her a warm bath and blowdried her. She enjoyed her bath and being blowdried very much (kept falling asleep, hee), looks SO much better, and seems to be feeling pretty decent. I want to take video of the ducks playing in the water, but the weather hasn't been so stable or they're not playing when I go check on them.
